Ishant Sharma got involved in a verbal scuffle with Ashutosh Sharma at the end of the 19th over of the first innings during the ongoing clash between Gujarat Titans and Delhi Capitals at the Narendra Modi Stadium on Saturday, April 19. The incident occurred during the over break, ahead of the commencement of the final over of DC’s innings.
Notably, Ishant was agitated after an unsuccessful review against Ashutosh. The seasoned pacer felt that the DC batter had got some bat in an intended attempt of pulling a short delivery to the fence. However, the replays claimed that the ball had not touched any part of the willow. In an attempt to cool Ishant down, Ashutosh even ended up rolling up his sleeve to display the skin on which the ball had thudded into him.
