Vajra Super Shot, an anti-drone system to detect the movement of unauthorised drone activity and aerial threats in real time, has been introduced at the following the recent terrorist attack in Jammu & Kashmir’s Pahalgam.
The governing body of the IPL has taken the step to strengthen the safety of the players and the fans. The special defense technology, which was prepared by Big Bang Boom Solutions Pvt. Ltd. (BBBS) in Chennai, made its IPL debut during the rain-affected 44th match of the 18th edition of the league between Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Punjab Kings (PBKS) at Eden Gardens on April 26.
The defense technology is capable to detect drone within a distance of 4-kilometer radius using the adaptive frequency technology.
