Rajasthan Royals (RR) players donned a special ‘Pink Jersey’ during Match 50 against Mumbai Indians in the on Thursday, May 1 in Jaipur. Unlike their original jersey, which is a mix of pink and blue colours, the RR players were seen in all-pink attire against the five-time champions. It is a part of RR’s annual ‘Pink Promise’ initiative, which aims at supporting the welfare of women in Rajasthan.

RR released a statement on their website and addressed the special initiative. In their statement, the inaugural champions confirmed the match against MI to feature the RR players in all-pink attire as a part of the ‘Pink promise match’. Their statement claimed that the Pink Promise match in 2024 helped in lighting thousands of homes in collaboration with a lighting products company.

“The Rajasthan Royals vs Mumbai Indians clash is also the highly anticipated Pink Promise match in the IPL 2025. The Royals’ Pink Promise is to continue supporting women-led transformation in Rajasthan. Last year, the ‘Pink Promise’ campaign, along with support from partners like Luminous, illuminated thousands of lives by bringing light to over 250 homes,” RR’s statement claimed on their website.
