An athletic catch on the sprint by Shimron Hetmyer brought an end to Mitchell Marsh’s innings during Match 36 of the 2025 edition of the Indian Premier League between Rajasthan Royals and Lucknow Super Giants at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium on Saturday, April 19. Jofra Archer secured his first wicket of the evening in his third over.
The delivery which got the wicket got a touch too big on Marsh. The hack across the line went miles up in the air. Hetmyer, positioned at the deep backward square leg fence, ran towards the 30-yard circle, all while keeping his eyes fixed on the trajectory of the ball. The opportunity was superbly snapped up after the West Indian lunged forward to hang on.

Later in the game, Dhruv Jurel was successful in clinging to the ball after three juggles to grant Wanindu Hasaranga his first wicket of the game. Skipper, Rishabh Pant, was the batter to depart for 3(9). The reverse-sweep initially hit Jurel’s helmet grill. The wicketkeeper-batter managed to secure the ball into his control after a few nervy bobbles.
