Icon star Allu Arjun unpacks the global power of Indian storytelling in conversation with Barun Das at the News9 Global Summit – WAVES Edition. The conversation went on interestingly, where Allu Arjun spoke about various things in his career.
When asked about coming from a family with a movie background and the benefits it had, Allu Arjun mentioned that having such support humbled him.
“I am very fortunate that I have the support of my entire family. Not many in North know, but everyone down South and in Telugu know that my grandfather Allu Ramalingaiah is an actor who acted in around 1000 movies, which is a huge number. It is one of the highest in the country. My father Allu Aravind is a very big producer in South who has produced almost 70 films. And then, my uncle is Megastar Chiranjeevi garu, who is one of my greatest inspirations,” revealed Allu Arjun.
Later, the actor said, “When you have so many stars in the family, it humbles you in many ways. I give a lot of credit to my family. I am not a self-made guy, and I am made by everybody, including my directors, technicians, family, fans, and everyone. I unapologetically take help as much as possible to grow.”
On the work front, Allu Arjun will next be seen in a film, directed by Atlee Kumar.
