Punjab Kings co-owner has finally revealed the conversation she had with Royal Challengers Bengaluru star batter after the IPL match. Kohli was named Player of the Match after he did 73 runs. Post the match, Zinta looked for Kohli and congratulated him for his performance. She also praised him for RCB’s win and the two got involved in a chat on the field. A video went viral where Kohli was seen scrolling his mobile phone and showing something to Preity.
On Monday, Zinta was asked about the chat he had with Kohli during a Q&A session on X. The actress revealed that they were showing each other the photos of their children. “We were showing each other pictures of our children & talking about them!” Zinta wrote on X.
We were showing each other pictures of our children & talking about them ! Time does fly… When I first met Virat 18 years ago, he was a spirited teenager buzzing with talent & fire – today he still has that fire & is an icon & a very sweet & doting father ❤️

Preity has been associated with PBKS since the start and she spoke her heart out about Kohli’s journey too. She called him a doting father to daughter Vamika and son Akaay. “Time does fly… When I first met Virat 18 years ago, he was a spirited teenager buzzing with talent & fire – today he still has that fire & is an icon & a very sweet & doting father,” she added.
Preity also spoke about her political entry when a social media user asked if she was going to join the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in future. Preity Zinta wrote on X, “I’m sorry if I sounded abrupt! I have PTSD from this question. Appreciate your clarification After becoming a mom & living in a foreign country I wanna make sure my kids don’t forgot they are half Indian. Since my husband is agnostic we are bringing up our kids as Hindus. Sadly, I am facing constant criticism & this simple joy is being taken away by my choice being politicized all the time. I feel I need to keep answering for being who I am or having pride in teaching my kids about their roots & religion. Chalo time to move on …Sending you lots of love n best wishes.”
Preity is happily married to Gene Goodenough in 2016. They are parents of twins, Gia and Jai, whom they welcomed via surrogacy on November 11, 2021.
On the work front, Preity is all set to make a comeback after 7 year break. She will be seen in Rajkumar Santoshi’s Lahore 1947, co-starring Sunny Deol, Shabana Azmi and Ali Fazal. The film is produced by Aamir Khan.
