When Isha Ambani married businessman Anand Piramal in December 2018, the couple received what might be one of the most extravagant wedding gifts in history. Anand’s parents, Swati and Ajay Piramal, presented the newlyweds with Gulita, a stunning 50,000-square-foot sea-facing mansion.
According to , the Piramals had acquired the property from Hindustan Unilever in 2012 for a staggering $61.2 million (approximately Rs 450 crore). The property has since appreciated significantly in value, now estimated at around $100 million (Rs 818 crore), as reported by .
The mansion, designed by the London-based architectural firm Eckersley O’Callaghan, takes luxury to new heights with its diamond-themed design. The reports that the property features three distinctive glazed steel ‘palm tree’ structures made using advanced 3D modeling tools, with the largest standing an impressive 11 meters tall.
