After a promising start on Eid, Sikandar managed to earn Rs 29 crore on its first Monday, but the momentum didn’t quite hold. The collections have dipped gradually since then. A film of this scale was expected to hit the Rs 100 crore milestone within its first weekend, but Sikandar only managed to cross that mark on its eighth day, which was a Sunday. According to Sacnilk, the film collected Rs 4 crore on Saturday and Rs 4.84 crore on Sunday. By Monday morning, the film had added just Rs 48 lakh to its tally, bringing its domestic total to Rs 103.07 crore.
Directed by AR Murugadoss and starring Salman Khan and Rashmika Mandanna, Sikandar released in theatres on March 30, 2025. Produced by Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment and Salman Khan Films, the movie had a massive launch with 8000 shows, which has now dropped to 4406 in India. With an overall occupancy of just 11.5% on Sunday and largely negative reviews, the film has struggled to maintain momentum. According to the producers, Sikandar has grossed Rs 187.84 crore, but its lukewarm reception and piracy issues seem to have weighed it down significantly.
